How many of us have been intimidated by the weight section of the gym? Relegated to the cardio machines because the grunting and shouting and testosterone are way too distracting to be comfy.

About me

Hi! I’m Vanessa, owner of Movement Magic and I hated going to the gym. The bro energy was always oppressive and I longed for a place where I could focus on my goals without having to fight for my life in a testosterone-filled gas chamber. 

So I created Movement Magic. An all-online space where we can train tough but in a feminine way. There’s none of that brotastic energy here. Only feminine strength (because we all know, there’s a different kind of strength to us women – and I’d argue a stronger kind) and becoming who we want to be. 

I’ve been a fitness coach for 10 years and a movement enthusiast for even longer. I went from being 50 lbs overweight and feeling like I didn’t want to leave the house to living in the world the way I always imagined I would. 

And you can too. 

Movement Magic

Movement Magic is a fitness library packed with over 300 workout videos not found on my YouTube. It’s made for those who want a guided plan made for them and their goals. (Note:  Don’t worry. My YouTube videos will always be free, but this library is for those who want more.)

I’ve created 3 main programs similar to those you know and love from YouTube but with more guidance, more videos, and more variety: 

  • Move - honing in on mobility (60 videos)

  • Flow - honing in on flexibility (60 videos)

  • Power - honing in on strength (60 videos)

All 3 series guide you from beginner to movement master in each category over 3 months. And the best part – each video is less than an hour long. 

But Vanessa, that’s only 180 videos. You said over 300?!

Yep. I believe fitness is flexible. So in addition to our 3 main focuses (mobility, flexibility, and strength), we also have over 80 cross-training videos in things like cardio, weight training, and even mental training in mindfulness and meditation. 

Plus, we’re constantly adding new workouts. From one-off videos like our Strength for Sunny Saturdays to mini-series like our Solstice to Solstice Mobility Challenge, there’s hundreds of challenges, form videos, and fun ways to move. Ever want to get your heart rate up by dancing to Cardi B or ever want to train to run a 5K? And what’s the difference between a Russian deadlift and a regular one anyway? If we forget our mind, it’ll only make honing the body harder.
